Hi
I want to be able to have a dial up connection to the internet, but I
initially installed my linux box without PPP support.
No I did all necessary things to be able to run ppp deamon (modem works
fine, can start pppd manually, compiled it straight into the kernel).
However pppd is not started automatically at boot time, which I should be
able to fix once I figure out which script it should be in, but when I use
netcfg it will not give me the PPP option if I try to add an interface.
I did not find the information how to enable ppp devices at boottime.
As you probably notived this is new to me. What do I need to do to get
internet dialup working?
Thx in advance
Sam
