locate

Hi:

I´m a newbie, trying to make locate work the expected way.
Everytime I try to locate something new in my system, locate provide no
information, so I have to imagine the path to the files (usr/bin, etc..)

Can anybody tell me how to run a cron to make locate rebuild its database
(think should be this way).
