Q: star office download woe - lesson to be learned

Hi all,

I struggled for whole day yesterday in installing the
star office
on my redhat PC. It was the downloads. I am not sure
if it is my network or sun's server.  I got a install
CD from a friennd and things installed and started
working in minutes.
