Can't re-register for RHN.

I have a system that I had registered, at one time.
I removed the profile, on the Red Hat web site, later.
Now, I'm trying to reregister the system.
When I run rhn_register, first it tells me that the system already appears
to be registered, and asks if I want to proceed, anyhow. I tell it yes,
and proceed through the various screens.
When I've finished entering the name, address, etc, and hit "next", it
bombs out, spewing the following:
Traceback (innermost last):
File "/usr/share/rhn/register/tui.py", line 1080, in ?
main()
File "/usr/share/rhn/register/tui.py", line 1076, in main
tui.run()
File "/usr/share/rhn/register/tui.py", line 1033, in run
win = self.windows[index](self.screen, self)
File "/usr/share/rhn/register/tui.py", line 627, in __init__
hardware.read_cpuinfo()
File "/usr/share/rhn/register/hardware.py", line 106, in read_cpuinfo
hwdict['speed'] = int(round(float(mhz_speed)))
ValueError: empty string for float()
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
Thanks.
