Davicom(9008F)/NE2000 question

Hi,
I got info on how to install lan driver from davicom's
site for their 9008F lan card.See below. However, i
have some questions:

1. Is it "conf.modules" or "modules.conf"?.
2. Does RH7.0 comes with ne.o driver?.
3. How do i use ifconfig/route to activate NIC?.

DM9008 is fully compatible to NE2000 chip. 
Therefore, the NE2000 driver can be used to activate
DM9008 NIC. For Linux, we can use ne.o driver and the
method is listed as below. 1. Use supervisor to login
your linux. 2. Edit "conf.modules" and put the
following two lines into this file. The first, alias
etho.ne The second, options ne io=0x320(your NIC IO
address)irq=0x5(your NIC interrupt) 3. Reboot your
system 4. Use ifconfig/route to activate NIC
