are there any good reasons why I should update to Red Hat 7.2?
what new features does it have?
and why should I update my kernel to the latest, what diffrence does it
make?
"Should"? Nah. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You don't *have* to update
if your current system does everything you want and is stable; particularly
if you run a server.
That being said...
I definitely *WOULD* upgrade. Lots of new stuff, the 2.4 kernel nearing
maturity, iptables, X 4.x, ext3 (yay!), the list is very long. Reasons to
want to upgrade abound, and I will be moving all my 7.0 systems to 7.2 ASAP
(except, of course, for my darling old Sun which is stuck at 6.2).
