Actually it's more to keep the rest of your network clean. You have to
understand you're working over the network, so you generate a lot of
traffic. By using this solution, you keep the clients in a 'seperate
network' in your network, so the rest of the network doesn't collapse
when you start booting ;-)

Look at it this way: if your building a solution for a bigger school you
could make a subnet for every class, one card supplies all clients all
applications from your application-server while the other card is used
for communicating with everything outside the class....Internet included
;-)
