Joe,
ISA nics present a special problem. The kernel can't
automatically detect them. SO, we have to help by passing
information on the kernel command line.
This is done with option-129 in dhcpd.conf.
Take a look at http://www.ltsp.org/instructions-3.0.html
Near the bottom of that page is instructions for setting
up ISA nics.
If you need some additional help, pop in to the #ltsp IRC
