Hi,
Has anyone setup a K12ltsp server using a Scientific-Atlanta (Webstar)
cable-modem with a USB port for external communications & internet
along with a standard 10/100 NIC for the local LAN ?
thanks

Hmmm...though I don't know about specific brands, all the cable modems
I've ever seen were designed for Ethernet RJ-45 usage. Are there any
hints in the docs about what the USB interface is for (out-of-band
management, or whatever)? For example, APC UPS's are known to use USB
and RS-232 serial interfaces for cleanly shutting down your PC after a
certain time w/o power.
