Hello Everyone,
I'm about to reclone my original 30 K12 clients to get get rid of the dual
booting setup with NT. The NT system has not been used since Jan or March
of 2003.
I have a clone boot HD ready to go with only a small FreeDos boot partion
with the smallest autoexec.bat file that I've seen in ages... it only call
the rtl81039 boot exec.
Before I do the cloning though, I thought that I'ld ask about how to set up,
if even possible, a swap partition, a ram drive, or something, on the local
clients. The old harddrives are there and I'ld like to unload the server a
bit if possible.
I'm at home still - 7:25 am, and I won't be getting to the cloning until
this afternoon, so if any of you out there are doing this with your systems,
please send a message back to the list.
Thanks,
Jim
