I currently run a School network with ~2500 Students, 200+ Teaching Staff
and ~150 Other Staff. we have 300+ Laptops for all teaching staff & some
classrooms, with a 2MB SDSL internet connection... all sitting behind an
IPCop
running on a 2.0GHz P4, 512MB DDR, 40GB HDD & Dansguardian....
I am the developer behind the Dansguardian IPCop Add-On witch can be found
@ http://www.dageek.co.uk/ipcop
This whole system works really really well with ~2.5Gb of traffic over a
normal
school day...
