I'm busy writing a document where I'm supposed to explain the benefits and drawbacks of thin client computing. I do have an idea what I want to write about, such as the obvious: no need for hard disks, need for powerful server, and of course some programs doesn't seem to work, such as Tuxracer. I thought it would be a good idea to pull from your experiences. What do you guys feel is the best benefits of thin clients, and what's the drawbacks?
What prevents TuxRacer from working? It should work fine if the appropriate accelerated OpenGL modules are loaded in.
