[K12OSN] Re:smp kernel

I have dell power edge 2450 twin 667 celeron , a gig of ram..scsi
drives.... smp kernel as installed from fedora/k12ltsp4 fails to
boot.and locks up///.best i can see init does not happen...boots and
runs fine with standard fedora kernel..Can not get any hints from dmesg
or /var/log/mrssages  Anyone else run across this|?? chuck
