For me Gcompris is the most consistant. It doesn't matter what part of
the program I use or what I am doing in it, it never last for more that
a minute. Sometimes it is almost immediate, and other times I can
actually get part of the software up and running start playing, then
BAM, the application completely quits with no errors. I would think
that if someone can actually tell me that the application in LTSP 4.0
runs without any crashes I can start looking at my hardware being a
problem. Tonight I am going to load LTSP 3.1 on another hard drive and
see if the problem repeats itself with the previous version. I ran that
version on a different box without any errors.
Thanks

Can you give me any more detail? It would help a great deal if I
had something more than "certain programs" ;-)
I'm about to go pick my six-year-old niece up at the airport.
She'll do an excellent job of putting Gcompris through the
paces for me!
