[K12OSN] Jim K--2,4,23 smp kernel-doa

I used this kernel for two days..2.4.23 ccrma jusr fine..this pm it went the
way of the 2.4.22 kernel and started locking up..i wanted to finish winbind so
went (on one culinder) with the nosmp kernel .can't tell if it is my hardware
or what I am on raid5 and it seems to quit while setting up disks...but i do
see some files i editted yesterday turn up uneditted today... c ya chuck
