Hi, I'm compiling 2.6.0 now, as long as nothing drastic occurs I'll let you know what happens.. norbert mellax pm ee wrote: From: "Jim Kronebusch" <jim winonacotter org> I am trying out 2.4.23 as of now. If that doesn't fix my crash problems I'll give 2.6 a whirl. After all its just time, right? Now, after some testing, I think your Gcompris crashing is not depending from kernel. I tried original kernel and 2.4.23 with Uniprocessor hw and gcompris was ok. At least 10 min with both. I cannot try with SMP because I haven't gcompris installed. But 2.4.23 kernel solved crashing problem for me. My SMP run nicely and uptime is 29 hour. Also I solved wine problem by installin older wine. Last wine have some kind of glibc problems. About 2.6.0 kernel - it is too raw for production serv. If you cannot compile 2.4.23, you also cannot compile 2.6.0. At least while you do not have gcc :) _______________________________________________ K12OSN mailing list K12OSN redhat com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/k12osn For more info see <http://www.k12os.org> |
