Re: [K12OSN] moving evolution after "forklift" upgrade

:-D .  No misunderstanding :-D . of course you can't forward if you can't login ........ (I'm not that much under the influence .... hmm not yet... ) I just thought that you might be able to login because the user could not get through the firewall .... then again I could be out to lunch ;-)

just a hunch, but did you disable iptables ? The upgrade/install of V4.0
activates iptables even if you don't select it...

hmmm now that's a problem :-P . did you try to email (forward) the
contents to their original accounts and recieve the mail in the new
accounts ?

Norbert,
the user can't log in to the original account, that is the real
problem. The weird thing is she could log in yesterday and she used
evolution without any problems. julius

ok, I give up. I am willing to recreate accounts of the users that
have problems logging in after the system install and home directories
restore. What do I do about evolution email contents? New evolution
refuses to import data from old evolution directory and copying the
directory gives me "wrong version" error. tia, julius

Norbert, we have total misunderstanding here - you can not forward your
eamil anywere, no matter what network settings are in force, if you can
not log in to the account. julius
