Any reason why using old PCs is not an option for your case? Old PCs

Oh, but I *am* already using old 'crapsters', just in another location.
The 'thin' thin clients are meant to minimise the hands-on part of
running an LTSP lab, by being homogenous, fitted with up-to-date
componets and, more important, be sleek, silent and very impressive with
their flat little flatscreens on'em.
These clients will be mounted on as little shelf as possible, in the
hallways of the school. The flat screens will be glued to the wall and
the keyboard is springloaded, so it flips to vertical when not in use.
The users are meant to be standing while they're checking email,
browsing the web, writing little essays etc. and when they're finished
the PC is supposed to blend in as best as possible (disappear if
possible). Very ambitious project that is going to be used as a demo for
many other schools.... now I just have to get it up and running ;-)
cheers
