There is still reasonable chance that some unstable updates will
occur in the v4.0 betas.

There has been very little testing as well,  I'm half-way through
the first attempt to upgrade from v3.1.2 to v4.0beta9. Who knows
what bugs that will shake out.

I've had really good luck using the v4.0betas as well, but I don't
encourage anyone but the more adventerous of us to test it out at
this point ;-)
