[K12OSN] mysql

I have mysql installed on my K12Ltsp server and somehowe I screwed the
root password :(

I have searched th mysql site and tried everything i couldt find over
there.
But some how I cant fix it can't use the commands they give in the
reference manual I downloaded.
Does some now howto get this fixed?
