Hello!
I've recently started using K12LTSP, and I'm wondering about the
proper way to disconnect a network booted client. I've clicked
"Disconnect" at the login screen, but it seems to respawn. I've told my
wife that since this PC didn't boot from the HD, we can simply power it
off from the login screen. Is this correct?
Also, I've noticed that there seem to be remnant processes for each
user that has logged in from a network booted machine:
ps -aux reveals:
jeremys 3357 0.0 0.2 5644 1620 ? S Nov02 0:00 oafd
--ac-activate --ior-output-fd=10
I'm not sure what this process is, or if its caused by improper shutdown
of the client PCs...
Input?
Steve
