Greetings,

I'm planning to offer a Linux course next year, and I'd like to do some
planning. We are a wireless Windows laptop school. I will have a course of
about 6 to 10 secondary students.

Question 1: What mix of Linux running on laptops only (dual boot), Linux
on a server with students logging in remotely via their Windows laptops,
or other system configurations do you recommend?

knoppix is the easy way.  Simply create a persistent home directory on your laptop win partition, and boot a knoppix CD.

Question 2: What web-available tutorials do you recommend for newbie high
school students?

there are simply millions of these.  You will need to decide exactly what you want to do, and then put in a good half-day on google.  You should have everything you need after that.

Steve
