yes, RED HAT really should have a "very stable" shelf version that only
changes about 1 a year max.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  got a feeling sometime after the first of the year at
least one machine will be dual booted RH/SUSE  to get used to the system,
and then gradually change machines to SUSE as they get upgraded...I think
RH is making a big mistake.
