I'll always plug my "Tux Paint" paint program for kids. 4-8 sounds like
a perfect age for it. ;^)
Also, not only can you compare it to commercial programs like
"MS Paint" (yikes, people use that!?) and KidPix (I've FINALLY had the
chance to try it out a little), but you can show Tux Paint running
on Windows and Mac OS X, too, since it does! :^)
