Is the problem with Flash on the clients which was an issue some time

In Norway they are using Internet based tests for the first time
nationally this year. The tests requires flash. This could be somewhat
of a problem... Is there another Webbrowser that works better with
flash, perhaps?

It has been ages since I've seen a crash caused by flash. Be sure that
you have the latest/greatest version:

http://macromedia.mplug.org/apt/redhat/9/RPMS.macromedia/flash-plugin-6.0.79-1.i386.rpm

That's what I have and Mozilla crashes, not on every site, but some. Given that we're going to arrange internet based tests using Flash, I have to fix this. If I remove the flashplugin from the plugins directory everything checks out fine again.

Mr. Trask suggested upgrading to 3.1.2. I have 3.1.1 on cds already, because that's what I use at home. Will that do? If so, can I do a simple upgrade and is that likely to cause any problems?

Trond.
