I use 3.0 based on RH8. I see you link to the RH9 rpm. Was this a Redhat 
8 problem perhaps, fixed in Redhat 9? Then again, perhaps upgrading to 
3.1.1 might do the trick.

By the way, what does 3.1.2 have that 3.1.1 don't? I was planning on 
holding on until K12LTSP 4 is out.
