fear of the unknown? Everything i read on it looks like that little book they 
give gi's in basic training in the army. Very many pages thick with no end in

As for me I've been doing web, ftp, samba, squid, and firwall setups for years 
and it really poses no problem for me. I'm also a php programmer and have 
done much with mysql stuff. 

but every time I start to look at ldap I feel like my head is going to 
explode. Either that or maybe I just dont have time to really get into but I 
do have plans some day to convert all my stuff over along with domain 
controling through samba for the winders boxen. I just never seem to have the 
time. 

That and I have never ever anyplace seen a simple how to on this. Not that I 
need simple but when your time is limited it sure does help things.
