I didn't realize, until seeing it on this thread, that gaim could access 
IRC.  I've only used it for AIM.  I've had no success trying to access 
my Ymessenger account with it.
I use KSirc on my iBook, with Fink, and sometimes on my Linux box, but I 
usually use XChat on my Linux box.
