[K12OSN] yum msg and missing favorite apps

I keep getting this while running yum:
/sbin/ldconfig: /lib/libvga.so.1 is not a symbolic link
Come to think of it, I think I saw it while running apt-get, too.
What is it's significant and how do I fix it, or do I need to fix it?
Also, and this likely should be a separate thread, I am missing a few
favorite KDE apps, can't find them anywhere from KDE or the yum and
apt-get repos. They are:
Knotes -the stickies-like app.
Kalendar-the iCal precursor
Ktimer-the little timer/alarm app.
All three of these have proved infinitely useful to me in the past and I
really, really miss them...Does anyone know what's happened to them?
