[K12OSN] Sound only works for first user logging in

I have successfully started the sound on our first k12ltsp project.  However
when the first user logs out and the second user logs in the sound doesn't
work.  If the first user logs back in it works for them again.  My "sound
=y" and it's counter parts are in the default section of the ltsp config
file the esound file is in profile.d.  I appears to tie to the workstation
not the user. Any ideas?
