[K12OSN] Disk CRC errors

I have an IDE drive that gives me the following errors:
Nov 25 09:00:12 pendragon kernel: hdb: dma_intr: error=0x84 { DriveStatusError
BadCRC }
Nov 25 09:00:18 pendragon kernel: hdb: dma_intr: error=0x84 {
DriveStatusError BadCRC }
Nov 25 09:00:27 pendragon kernel: hdb: dma_intr: error=0x84 {
DriveStatusError BadCRC }
I am not worried about the data on the drive, but I'd like to resolve
the problem. I think the IDE controller is okay, a sister drive on
the same machine works fine. A spot check of files shows the files
are okay (comparing to another machine ala md5sum)
Is it a media problem or is there something I can fix with clever
fdisk-ing/mk2efs-ing?
I'm cheap ;-) I'd like to not throw the drive and start over if possible.
Thanks.
Scott
