Wow... I've been on hold for longer than it took to get response from 
SEVERAL people both on and off list.  Thank you very much. :)

As several people mentioned to me, the kicker is to get a *clean* list 
of words -- I combined the perl scripts emailed to me to get a 5 letter 
single word password from the /usr/share/dict/linux.words file, and the 
first one generated was "dildo" -- not exactly the ideal middle school 
student password...  ;)
