Hi,
I'm having some strange issues with users accounts, what would happen
if I removed all the user and deleted the contents of the /tmp
directory to start again ?

Just make sure everyone but root is logged out, and you can safely
delete everything in /tmp. As for doing your users over again, that
points to something in /etc/passwd and/or /etc/shadow getting
corrupted, which of course should never happen. :-) Does it "look"
normal?
