It'd be interesting to get yellowdog working, because then a server
running with mac-on-linux, another server running win4lin/vmware
server/W2k Terminal server, and the normal k12ltsp server, you could
have all 3 major platforms available for students to use from any
terminal client.

Not at the moment. If you want to duplicate this work on-top of
Debian or Gentoo or Mandrake or whatever, we'll be happy to show
you the magic behind the curtain. But there is only so many hours
in the day, so the K12LTSP packagers will not being doing this work
themselves.
