I use Dansguardian through a Mitel SME (E-smith) server as the gateway.
I've got about 300 hosts going through the filter. We have an ADSL pipe
(1.544). I also use PAM authentication so the students have to log in when
going to the Internet (for forensic purposes). Very quick. No problems at
all. My K12LTSP server just does K12LTSP and DHCP for the lab.
