I would make sure to really research the solution you look into for
this, and ideally do a small-scale test installation. There was a
certain university that I have associates at that thought this might be
a good idea too, and ran a trial in one of there drop-in student labs.
It lasted a little over two weeks. It caused many more problems than it
solved, and almost everyone there elected to keep their username /
password rather than go with the fingerprint system. Granted, this was
almost two years ago now, but the technology just doesn't seem to be
there yet, IMHO.
