OK, I have one for the gurus...
I've been using K12LTSP starting at v.3.1.2, upgraded to 4.0. It's on my
home machine with satellite terminals so I can get some work done while
the 5 year-old plays on GCompris, TuxPaint, etc...
Sound works fine on the console, and sound works fine on the terminals.
The problem is that sound will only work on one at a time. If I log in
on the terminal, I cannot then get sound from the console. The same is
true in reverse. The results are identical in reverse. The resulats are
the same if the terminal in question is a fat client or a thin client.
My fat clients do not support sound.
It doesn't seem to be user-related, as this happens whether I log in on
one or both, or my son logs in on one and I log in on the other.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Angus Carr.
