What about rdesktop and using a windows application server?
Yeah it would cost you some, but one winserver and a couple CALs is
probably cheeper than messing with VMware or multiple machines (less
hassle anyways).
Rebooting is wht I am trying to get around.
I have users wanting to use some of the programs under linux without
having to boot to linux and vnc is what I currently use but it is
pretty
slow.
