I did a while back and figured that it wasn't going to cut it.
Let me know how it goes, if it goes well I'll take another look at it.
I have velocity installed at work, but have not had the chance
to evaluate it yet.

Edit these two files:
/etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/IceWM
/usr/share/apps/switchdesk/Xclients.icewm
change the nautilus line to gentoo...
