Folks,
Recently, sessions on one of my clients have been terminating abruptly and memory is not the cause. The client is not responding to a ping from the server: /var/log/messages contains the following:
gdm[1980]: Ping to ws003.ltsp:0 failed, whacking display
I had a look at /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf but cannot see a variable that can be changed to disable the ping. The PingIntervalSeconds=15 line is already commented out.
How can this pinging and/or whacking be disabled? I'm running k12ltsp 4.0 and have been keeping it updated with yum. gdm-2.4.4.5-1.
Thanks!
Jesse McDonnell
