RE: [K12OSN] Linux as Campus router



I was afraid of the studying part.  Thanks very much for giving me a
direction for my efforts.  I will probably get that book on order today.

All distros *support* iproute2.  It is a router extension, not something
that runs on, or is relevant to other network machinery.

I highly recommend a policy-routing+tcsh core.  There are good tools to
automate the intricate jobs, and it is fairly obvious once the initial
mind-warp hurdle has been overcome, as usual.  The possibilities are
then endless, and the ride is stunning.

see that online book I linked you to.  There will be a lot of study
required however.
