I already chimed in on this one, and I am very happy with ClamAV the only issue I have is ClamAV isn't scanning out going messages only incoming. It's a nuisance, but that's my only complaint and since I am more worried about incoming virii it hasn't compelled me to dig deeper.


The speeds are fast, and I don't have Shawn's restart need (which is curious because we are running almost the exact same configuration)


It's awesome.



Scott and I have been emailing back and forth about our experiences with ClamAV. (We're both using it now) And I'm curious about the stability issue.

I still have a cron job restarting the clamav-milter and clamd processes every hour... How has it been for you Scott?

I like ClamAV. We did purchase Vexira to scan home directories but when the license runs out I will use ClamAV to scan home dirs too (right now we use ClamAV just for email scans).
