Greetings from Maine..."Land of the Laptops" (for those not in the
know....Maine has given every 7th and 8th grader statewide...an Apple
iBook as part of the Maine Learning and Technology Initiative) And I must
say it's working very well! Anyway...I have lots of expereince with
iBooks.....
You can run K12LTSP on an iBook as a terminal.....go here
http://www.trasksinc.com/esmith/OSX_how_to.htm DO NOT try to run it
wirelessly as it's slower than death.....plug it in. It might work OK
with Airport Extreme, but with regular 802.11b it's not usable.
