Dave and I are making plans to do the same.  Are you interested in car 
pooling to NYC?  We are currently planning to drive down early Wed, 
return late Friday.  If we can make all the arrangements I expect to 
call next Monday to book the Comfort Inn room.  They said this afternoon 
there are still plenty of rooms for 1/21-22

Do you have a place to stay in Portland Tuesday night, or could you use one?
