Sure! Last year, I set up a similar Kiosk (100% KDE, no IceWM) for
a newspaper/magazine store (at the request of a local community networking
non-profit: http://www.dcn.org/ )
At the same time, someone else set up a Mozilla/Blackbox/Slackware setup
for a local grocery store (a food co-op) -- also for the non-profit.
(They're in cahoots with a local ISP; together they pretty much wired the
city government a few years back, I guess. Cool ISP, cool non-profit)
ANYWAY, I'm working (slowly) on documenting it all, and will post example
config files. That may also help get people to say "uh, bill, you forgot
to do X - it's easily hacked the way you've got it!"
It'll be embarassing, but helpful, of course. ;)
(Just like the "uh, Bill, you forgot to free() your malloc()"s I get all
the time with my games & tux paint ;) )
-bill!
