Re: [K12OSN] OFF-Topic: search for PPC Knoppix

Thanks,
Actually, afeter posting that message I got off my
lamer newbie butt-cheeks (well, actually, I AM still sitting on them) and googled it and found this one: http://debian.tu-bs.de/knoppix/powerPC/
which I am now downloading.
Watch it be all in German or something (like the
Freeduc CD that is all in French).
Maybe I should dump that download and try the Gentoo one.

Two I know of right off hand:

Gentoo's : http://www.gentoo.org/news/20030603-ppclivecd.xml
And the Knoppix version.... knoppix-MiB for PPC here (alpha release): ftp://ftp.crihan.fr/mirrors/knoppix-mib.org/

Read carefully the README-PPC.txt

knoppix-Mib page here:
https://www.bouissou.net/knoppix-mib/doc-html/Knoppix-Mib.html

Hope that helps.

Say,
Off hand, do any of you know of a distribution that boots from CD, like Knoppix, that runs on PPC architecture?
