I get the routine system sounds, beeps and blips when IMs come in, mail 
comes in, etc., etc. but now XMMS won't play sound.
I ran the soundcard detection and the card is detected, but I don't get 
the test sound.
I'm stumped.  I was listening to tunes during Xmas break.  Honest.
