For some reason I get no sound when accessing flash media.
I see the images just fine.
I have Flashplayer5 and have been using Netscrape 7.1
I am using 3.1.2 with 2.4.20-28 kernel
Should I seek support form macromedia or netscape?

Are you running esd or nasd? Flash sound will work with nasd

Wait...suddenly XMMS gives me an error msg- couldn't open audio.
This is wierd. I was listening to tunes on here less than two weeks ago.

I'm going to run soundconfig.

Took me a minute to find sndconfig (/sbin/sndconfig)
Running it from terminal, it gets as far as the point where it should play the test sound and disappears/crashes.
When I run the gui Sound Card Detection from System Settings menu, I just don't hear anything when it gets to that point.

I'm sorry, it must seem like I'm spamming the list. Perhaps I should have done this stuff BEFORE I started this thread.

I ran /sbin/sndconfig again, this time NOT as root, and it simply said,"An error has occured while writing the config file."

Any ideas?
