I have sent Jim he second ATI Mobility card on my network
1002:4C57 ati #Radeon Mobility M6 LY
This came from a NEC PowerMate ECO system Tartenlla cpu (SP?) a
combination cpu and monitor with separate USB Keyboard and USB Mouse.

ATI chipsets, particularly the "mobile" laptop versions, constantly
change PCI ids. This has been causing us a great deal of pain.
This was the most-discussed topic amongst the LTSP developers at
LWCE NY.
We have a couple of ideas on how to tackle this problem, but no
working code as of this moment. (as far as I know, Jim may have
coded it since we last talked ;-)
The simple solution, probably the one we will try first, is to
drop back to the vesa driver. Try setting XSERVER = vesa and let
us know if it works decently on the two that you are having problems.
