Hi,

Thanks for the info, if I install Netatalk on the LTSP server and share a directory with the OS9 machine I could, via a script, retrieve and backup all the files to some device ?

It really depends on what you want to happen.  To backup crucial files from the
OS9 machines, set up an Appletalk shared directory on the LTSP version and write
an AppleScript program to connect to the directory and copy the files.

the client and copy the files.  This script could be run as a cron job.

Either should work.

(We are connecting OS9 clients to a K12LTSP server via atalk.  It works well for
us.)
